Terminal Neglect by Michael Rushnak gets 4 stars from me. The only reason I didn't give it 5 is because of the sex scenes and the use of the f word at least three times in the book. I loved the twists and turns in the story. I keep turning the pages to found out what would happen next. Dr Jonathan Rogers wants to be The Surgeon General but he doesn't want it bad enough to lie about the cancer drug Zazotene. Doctor's Choice Products wants the doctors to give Zazotene to their cancer patients even through it isn't safe. The Health Club will do anything to get Zazotene used more to increase their products. Dr Rogers will not go along and his family is in danger. Dr Rogers is shot outside the White House minutes after talking to the president and his daughter Ashley is kidnapped. People are being murder and the FBI is not being honest with the Rogers and they cannot trust them to tell them about Ashley being kidnapped. And who is the red hair lady that always shows up. I did not know who one of the bad guys was till the ending! This book was the first in a series of 3. I won the 2nd book in the series and started reading it , which can be a stand alone but I like to read series in order so I stopped reading it and brought this one because the second was keeping me turning the pages also and I wanted the full story. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes mysteries and don't mind the sex scenes and the cussing.Product details

Terminal Neglect Volume 1 Michael Rushnak 9781479124879 Books Reviews
This is a good thriller that brings forward many of the troubling issues in the medical field. Is making money more important than patient care for doctors and drug companies?
I just finished Terminal Neglect, which is my first venture into the "medical suspense" genre. I loved it !!!
It kept my attention and I had no idea how it would end. It really makes you think about what goes on in the
Pharma industry. I just downloaded The Savior Vaccine which I will start tonight !!!!

What a disappointment. A poorly written book, with annoying spelling and punctuation errors. Unrealistic story line and a waste of time.
Michael Rushnak's medical thriller, Terminal Neglect, was very insightful to the elusive pharmaceutical industry today and the politics the inevitably revolve around it. I found Dr. Rodgers character to be very relatable to me, as the reader, and offered a motivational and inspiring ideal to create awareness of challenges that health commissioners face throughout their career. Fulfilling duties to create best health care practices on an equal spectrum regardless of the negative influences by coworkers and influential figures, was greatly portrayed. This book should be read by anyone who has a passion for justification and enjoys thrillers.
Terminal Neglect is a fast-paced and tightly woven page turner! Michael Rushnak has proven he is among the best medical suspense writers of all time, and I look forward to reading all his novels. The twists and turns and clearly defined characters made this book difficult for me to put down. I'll never think the same about the term "health club" again!
Medical mysteries are always thrillers to me! How far from reality are they? To me, not very far at all! This story dealt with the pharmaceutical industry and the ways they try to override the FDA to get drugs approved. This industry is very powerful and those individuals who get in the way are usually removed in one way or another.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It sucked me in and gave me a lot to think about; for example, do they really have a place where they test drugs on humans that get paid for risking their health? Can't wait to get started on another of Michael's books!!!
I read Terminal Neglect, by Michael Rushnak, after I had read the last two books in the Trilogy. It was great reading. Since I knew who lived and who died, I wasn't so nervous about reading Terminal Neglect. I recommend you read these books in order as you're introduction in Terminal Neglect sets up the characters, something I did not know.
Terminal Neglect is thrilling and keeps the reader on edge the entire time. We find out early on who the good and bad guys are, however that does not take away from this great mystery books ability to keep you reading well into the night. This is a great book. Michael Rushnak, is a wonderful writer. You won't be sorry reading The Health Club Trilogy starting with this fabulous first book in the Trilogy, Terminal Neglect.
