Being kidnapped by aliens is one thing. Being kidnapped by aliens and then sent to a prison planet is something infinitely worse. Here in Haven’s prison system, I’m stranded among strangers, enemies, and the most ruthless criminals in the galaxy. There’s no safety for a human woman here, especially not one branded as a murderer. I’m doomed to a fate worse than death. Then…he decides I should be his. His name’s Jutari. He’s seven feet tall, blue, and horned. He’s an assassin and one of the most dangerous prisoners here. He’s like no one I’ve ever met before…and he might be my only chance. *** This story stands completely alone and is only marginally connected to the Ice Planet Barbarians series. You do not need to read those books in order to follow this one.

I will never say no to more sexy blue goodness. Jutari certainly delivers on both the blue and the sexy. Considering what he had to do to keep Chloe safe from his cellmates, the fact I find him sexy says a lot. What can I say? I like how possessive these blue hunks get when they find the one they're meant to be with.So. Chloe. We met her in passing--wait, no. Actually, she was only mentioned in passing in Kate's book and now we have a chance to see what happened to another unfortunate abductee from Earth. Honestly, Chloe is NOT in a good place. She's been dropped on the worst prison planet (I might be exaggerating. There might be worse ones out there.) imaginable and she's hardly equipped to defend herself.
Good thing Jutari takes a shine to her the first time he sees her. The only downside is that one of the prison guards also has a thing for her. So, you know, that's fun.
You know what they say, though. Once you go blue...Okay, maybe they don't say that. BUT THEY SHOULD.
I genuinely adore our Ice Planet Barbarians, but I am COMPLETELY not adverse to seeing more of the other blue aliens out in the universe. Completely.

Prison Planet Barbarian Ruby Dixon 9781521252765 Books Reviews
I'm an IPB fan but this side story was very enjoyable. Poor Chloe has been through hell but she is plucky and just keeps going forward. Jutari is a big bad dude in serious trouble until he sees Chloe and his whole world changes. We all know how protective our big blue barbarians are and Jutari is no different. I loved reading about their story. It has everything we've come to expect from Ruby Dixon. You won't be disappointed.
As always a good story. I enjoyed the tension of the setting, and Chloe's responses I felt were true. I'd be interested in reading the brothers story if there is going to be one. My one complaint is the book is too short for the price, dollar less.
This story is different then what im use to reading from Ruby but i enjoyed the book very much. This book goes a little darker then normal but you get a happy ending. I loved how she was able to pack so much detail and so many different backgrounds on the characters in this book.
Another great read from Mrs. Dixon. I loved the world building that she brought to the story. I can't even imagine being in Chloe's place. Jutari was an incredible character. The only complaint I have is the story was not long enough and I would really love if she would put out his brothers story. ( sad Face)
So that being said I almost did not read this story because another reviewer said there was rape scenes in the book. I really don't get into reading that. I am glad I didn't listen because there was nothing like that. There was one scene but it was never really spelled out as to what was happening. You just knew. I really don't like to read stories that go into detail about such activities and the author did not so i am happy about that. Great read and incredible world building I would definitely recommend Chloe's story.
I've seen several of these alien romance books and I have always scrolled last them. I was frustrated with all these romance books that end at 30%. So I decided to try it.
It is so well done. I can tell this girl has watched my favorite Sci-fi T.V. Shows. I can see the inspiration.
The plot is so well done. Not rushed at all. It's very unbelievably believable.
I LOVED it.
Chloe ends up kidnapped on earth, sold as a sex slave, who accidentally kills her buyers and ends up on a prison planet. To them, she's an illegal, primitive alien, who could very well be diseased.
But J. Is big and scary and strong. He's in maximum security and he claims her as his own. She's scared of him, but feels protected by him. He's her only way out and now she's the reason he wants to escape this prison planet and keep her protected forever.
I LOVED it. It was so intense and beautiful. A sexy, blue alien helps.😅😜
This is my first read of a long novella about our favorite Big Blue Alien Guys by Ruby Dixon that didn't involve "cooties", and I did enjoy it. It's more like a "day in the crappy life" of an alien abduction victim and what could be one of the top ten worst case scenarios to end up in without being dead just yet. Sometimes you just need a little breather between intense novels, and this one was really a good one to read. (Any book that gets a second or third read has to be doing something right.) It is a sobering thought on just how defenseless the human body is without a wicked weapon in his/her hand. Though some might think this novella might be a little slow and the ending less than exciting, I found it satisfactory which is a good deal better than the last twenty-five so-called novels I've read in the past month. But you HAVE to read the next sort-of-stands-alone novel The Corsair's Captive for a far more fun romp on the edge of lawlessness. (It's Jutari's fashionista brother, the pirate! LOVE THE NAME OF HIS SHIP! Thank you, Ruby!!!!!!)
All I can say is Ruby Dixon has done it again!!!! I LOVE everything she writes!! I'm pretty sure she could make the telephone book amazing to read lol!!!
But seriously if you love outer space/alien loving THIS is your book you should also read her I've Planet books 😍💚💚
